I understand the expectations of being a BBQ judge and would like to be consideredAs a judge, I understand that I am part of a panel of individuals that will be gathered in a somewhat secluded area of the event. I understand that I will need to be in the building by 11:30 am to ensure anonymity. Judges are not allowed to fraternize with the teams prior to the contest. The judging session of the event takes place from 12:00 to 2:15, will involve scoring each item; Chicken, Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, side dish, and dessert. Shady Strong is not made aware in advance of the ingredients each team will be using and therefore cannot accept anyone with food allergies OR food aversions as a judge.
